PamPeana began over 20 years ago with a simple act of connection - promoting handcrafted leather masks from an artist in Argentina. That initial partnership led on to a trip, an adventure, that took us through South America, to the Wichi community of northern Argentina, to the creative glass artists of Ecuador and to the skilled tagua artisans whose work turns unpretentious palm seeds into wearable art. It began as a relationship and has developed into a family of makers, each bringing their story, their skill and tradition to every creation we make.
At our core, PamPeana is built on Fair Trade principles - fair wages, sustainable materials, and genuine respect for the hands behind every product. We work with recycled and renewable materials whenever possible, because we believe beautiful design and environmental responsibility should never be at odds. But, more than that, we want our partners to be partners, not suppliers, and to have a voice in the products we bring to the world together.
With the purchase of a PamPeana, you are not just acquiring a handcrafted item, you are also taking part in a story that crosses continents, cultures and generations. Thanks for walking the journey with us.
